Picture of the Day
COMMUNITY SWINGS FOR A CURE
Stephanie Abel
Pink was the color of the day on Tuesday as 288 golfers and over 40 volunteers gathered to raise money for cancer at the 11th annual Swing For a Cure's Pink Ribbon Golf Classic. From shirts to hats to even painted fingernails, everyone was in high spirits. On one of the last holes, Iowa Development owners Tyler Duda, middle, and Jason Guthrie, mixed up "pink tatas" so golfers could have some refreshments while under the hot sun. Above, they made a toast with last year's honorary survivor Kathy Bunger and the Cedar Falls Queens of the Green. See two full pages of photos in this week's CEDAR FALLS TIMES.
